Junior Swimmers Excited to See Lyn and Kirlew in Paris

National age group swimmers, Kia Alert and Arush Rochlani are both excited that two swimmers, Sabrina Lyn and Josh Kirlew are in Paris representing Jamaica at the Olympics.

Kirlew will be contesting the men’s 100-metres butterfly on August 2 and Lyn will swim in the women’s 50-metres freestyle on August 3.

Alert and Rochlani are apart of a seven member team that will represent Jamaica at the PanAm Age Group Championships in Puerto Rico, from August 22-26.

Alert says she has competed with Lyn on several national teams including the Carifta Championships in April.

Rochlani says Lyn and Kirlew qualifying for the Olympics has restored his hope that someday he too can be an Olympian.
