Fresh off the release of their new album The Man With No Door, Kes the Band is eagerly anticipating their upcoming performance in Jamaica.
The Trinidad and Tobago soca band will hit the stage on Carnival Thursday at RYTZ and is eager to help revellers get read for road march day.
“Jamaica holds a special place in our hearts! We can’t wait to bring the energy and vibes of Trinidad and Tobago to the groovy sounds of reggae while getting everyone ready for carnival day,” said lead singer Kees Dieffenthaller, more popularly known as Kes.
Newcomer RYTZ is a collaboration between I Love Soca Jamaica and the Tipsy Music Festival and will take place on the fields of The University of the West Indies, Mona campus.
Derived from the word ‘ritz’, organisers have promised an all-inclusive event, including delectable cuisine and top-shelf beverages. It also promises a musical showcase like no other with a full-scale Kes the Band musical showcase and a performance by Mical Teja, the 2024 Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Road March winner.
