Kirby, Newman Confident Heading into Bodybuilding Championships

Kimani “Cobra” Kirby and Laycola Newman are expressing confidence ahead of the Mayberry Investment Jamaica Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, JABBFA, National Senior championships at the AC Hotel, on Saturday.

Kirby will be competing in the men’s light heavy bodybuilding and Classic Physique, while Newman will contest the Body Fitness and Women’s Physique categories.

After finishing second and third last year, Kirby is determine to improve on those performances.

Newman was the winner of the Novice Women’s Physique at the Novice, Junior, Classic and Elite Bodybuilding Championships in July.
