Newly crowned men’s 100m National champion Kishane Thompson will be in action on the European Circuit on Tuesday as they continue his build-up to the Olympic Games in Paris.
The 22 year old Thompson who clocked a world leading 9.77 seconds to land his first National title in Kingston last week, will line-up in his pet event at the Istvan Gyulai memorial in Hungary.
Thompson will the likes of Commonwealth games silver medallist Akani Simbini of South Africa and former world junior champion and record holder Letsile Tebogo of Botswana.
World champion Shericka Jackson will also be in action at the meet, she battles Julien Alfred, Daryll Neita and Lanae Tava Thomas in the women’s 200m.
Tia Clayton is entered for the women’s 100m where she’ll be up against Tamara Davis and Tamara Clarke.
