May Day High have strengthened their dominance over Clarendon College while Manchester High hold the advantage in their contest against St. Elizabeth Technical High (STETHS) in the ISSA/GK Insurance Grace Headley Cup semi-finals at the close of play on today’s second day.
In the match at May Day, the hosts were leading Clarendon College by 483 runs. May Day were 352 runs for the loss of nine wickets at the close after they had skittled out Clarendon College for 156 earlier in the day, in reply to their first innings total of 283.
May Day’s second innings total was built on Reon Edwards, Christopher Lewis and Chadwick Hewitt, who made 97, 95 and 81, respectively, as Danjay Larmond captured six wickets for 92 runs for Clarendon.
Meanwhile, at STETHS, the hosts lead Manchester by 19 runs in their second time at the crease as they were 81 for four at the close. STETHS had earlier dismissed Manchester for 250, in reply to 188. Matthew Morgan topscored for Manchester with 110.
