MC Nuffy Tells Laing to Not Keep Sting: “Give Kartel this December and let it be a Gaza Christmas”

Saturday morning, Jamaica’s most popular MC, MC Nuffy took to social media to give his longtime friend, ‘father’ and associate Isaiah Laing and fellow Sting promoters some advice. According to the outspoken Dancehall personality, it would be a bad move should Sting’s organizers try to go up against Vybz Kartel’s December show, instead, he urged the veteran promoters to support Vybz Kartel and make an appearance at his event.

His lengthy statement reads, “Mr Laing I don’t play bothy I do respect and definitely your a person who I respect in every way your the promoter of @reggaesting fi over 40yrs and change in my view as your Number One Mc. Sting build me to who I am this day and I ofto respect that. Nobody defend sting 🐝 like nuffy but at this moment am saying this to you as a son to a father if you keep sting this year your going to let what you give to your son end up as a disgrace Brand.”

He went on to point out that people are eager to see the Portmore artiste and suggest that Laing and the organisers should look pass the past, “Vybz kartel Coming from prison as the king of Dancehall I know you did want him to be on your show but it don’t work the way how you want it to work call it a spade ♠️ he give it to Joe jus respect his decision as a General to a General. Laing you and vybz kartel have something going on I know it can fix because I know nuff stuff and I know your not the person who a lot of people think you are.”

Nuffy next expressed that Laing is a good man at heart and the problem most artistes have with him stems from money, “I can tell people the truth your a Good person to a lot of entertainers but some refuse to say it because your problem with them is money 💰 money 💰 money 💴 plus you still have some deposit 💵 you don’t pay to them. Laing look at vybz Kartel today he is one of jamaica biggest treasure Wid out a doubt I think you should respect wat he’s doing and come onboard to help joe put this show together because jamaica need this at this moment.”

By saying “come onboard” Mc Nuffy suggests that he has picked his side in the saga, which is Vybz Kartel’s side. Only time will tell if he will be one of the MCs on Vybz Kartel’s December 31 show.

Nuffy also reminded Laing that he was the one who introduced him to Josef Bogdanovich and states that he and a Joe also have issues, however, it’s time to put those issues behind him, “am the one who bring joe to you fi buss him as the next big promoter in Jamaica 🇯🇲 I did predict it one year when I was hosting sting I tell the audience that he going to be the next big promoter jus accept the new flavor Laing. I know you and Joe have bad blood 🩸 but it not that bad it can fix all me end up ina it because am not only defending you but am defending sting.”

Nuffy who was promoting this year’s staging of Sting earlier on in the year, concluded his statement by saying, “Laing a 13yrs vybz kartel nuh see Road jus respect who him choose and come celebrate Wid him a di world a come out to see him. This is the biggest Dancehall event ever ago keep in Jamaica this is like wen Bolt run the record we the Jamaican people want the best for him. Plus the floggers telling a lot of lie on you Laing somethings they say you going to do to stop vybz Kartel show I know its a lie. Laing pull the show this year and give Kartel this December and let it be a Gaza Christmas.”

Whilst most people agreed with Nuffy, some did not, one person pointed out, “What a situation. Jamaican people bad mind one another every chance they get and switch. So before Kartel release Sting was the BIGGEST show @mc_nuffy and no one could say anything about it. Going on for 40 years, a staple in Jamaican history and he is suppose to just step back now and allow Joe and Skatta to tear it down? This show could have been kept on any other day and would still have the same turn out and everybody win. Can’t believe you wrote that as much as Sting did for you. How quick we forget and switch.”
