Messi Fever Swelling Ahead of Concacaf Champions Cup 2nd Leg

A large crowd is expected at the National Stadium to witness Argentine star Lionel Messi and is Inter Miami team take on Jamaica Premier League champions Cavalier in the return leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup, on Thursday evening starting at 7.

Technical director of Cavalier, Rudolph Speid, says he conscious of the Messi fever running through the country, but he’s still expecting the local fans to get behind the Caribbean champions who must overturn a 2-nil first leg deficit.

Speid says they intend to prove that Jamaican clubs are on par with their counterparts from North America.
