Minister with responsibility for works, Robert Morgan, has hit back at his opposition counterpart, Richard Azan, as the row over payment for Christmas works deepens.
Mr Azan has alleged that the government has failed to pay workers employed on most of the projects under the Christmas work programme, including most of those implemented by the National Works Agency, NWA.
In response, Minister Morgan concedes that while there have been delays with some payments, they result from issues with documents submitted by the contractors.
Mr Morgan says Mr Azan is playing politics.
