Member of Parliament for North Central Clarendon, Robert Morgan says the government is not worried about the impending probe by the Financial Investigations Division, FID into Prime Minister Andrew Holness’ statutory declarations.
Speaking on Cliff Hughes Online on Friday, Mr. Morgan maintains that the Prime Minister has done nothing wrong.
The Integrity Commission has asked Parliament to support its referral of Prime Minister Holness’ financials to the FID.
On Thursday, the FID announced that it had received communication from the Commission.
It said it would undertake a comprehensive analysis of the contents in accordance with relevant legislation to determine what, if any, specific area may be probed in keeping with its mandate.
However, Mr. Morgan says despite the opposition’s claims, the party is yet to present any evidence that the Prime Minister has committed any wrongdoing.
