Government Senator, Marlon Morgan, is rejecting Opposition Leader, Mark Golding’s, claims that the country could be in a worse state if the Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, gets a third term in office.
The PNP President made the claim during a recent meeting with party supporters in Hartford, Connecticut.
Shaloy Smikle reports.
Speaking to PNP supporters in Hartford, Connecticut, recently Opposition Leader, Mark Golding, asserted the party will have a very tough time removing the JLP from government.
He also lamented that the PNP’s message is not being carried by the media.
Mr. Golding also noted that the PNP is reluctant to share their plans for the country should they form the next government, out of fear their ideas may be stolen.
But in a response on Monday, Government Senator, Marlon Morgan, dismissed the PNP President’s claims as disingenuous and baseless.
Senator Morgan asserted that Jamaica has instead thrived under the Andrew Holness-led Administration.
