Mount Pleasant Extends JPL Lead

Mount Pleasant Academy extended their lead atop the Wray and Nephew Premier League to six points following their 2-0 win over Arnett Gardens at Drax Hall, on Sunday.

Theodore Whitmore’s team are now on 43-points after registering their ninth straight victory.

Raheem Edwards and Franco Celestine were the goal scorers for Mount Pleasant.

In the other results, Humble Lion edged 10-man Chapelton Maroons 1-0.

Meanwhile, Portmore United blanked Harbour View 4-0, Tivoli Gardens beat Dunbeholden 2-0 and Waterhouse beat Vere United 3-0.
