Mount Pleasant Win First Game of Whitemore’s Return

Mount Pleasant Academy beat Arnett Gardens 2-1 at Sabina Park on Tuesday to remain in contention for a place in the next round of the Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship.

Jahshaun Anglin opened the scoring in the 33rd minute to give Mount Pleasant the lead.

However, Arnett Gardens drew level in the 54th minute thanks to Shai Smith.

Mount Pleasant grabbed the winner with nine minutes remaining as Kimoni Bailey struck home a brilliant solo effort for the St. Ann-based Mount Pleasant to mark the second coming of coach Theodore Whitmore with a victory.
