One of the worst mayors Mandeville has ever had! That’s how member of parliament, MP, for Central Manchester, Rhoda Moy Crawford, describes mayor of Mandeville, Donovan Mitchell.
Speaking with our news centre at the Jamaica Labour Party’s East Central St. Catherine Constituency Conference on Sunday, Crawford criticised the mayor for his opposition to the prime minister’s announcement about a new park in Mandeville.
Meanwhile, Crawford says the results of last February’s local government elections, where the People’s National Party won all the divisions in Central Manchester, should not be used as a guide towards the likely result of the next general elections.
Crawford and Mayor Mitchell are expected to battle for the seat.
And MP Crawford says her team is comfortable with the level of preparation in place for the upcoming general elections.
She says constituents have expressed confidence in her leadership.
