Netball Jamaica announced the fifteen-member squad for the upcoming four game Horizon series to be hosted by England and Jamaica.
The first two matches of the home and away series will be played in England on November 16 and 17, followed by two games in Jamaica on November 25 and 26
Ace shooter Jhaniele Fowler-Nembhard was again named as captain of The Sunshine Girls team that boasts a mix of experience and up and coming talent and follows on the teams’ bronze medal performance at the Netball World Cup in August 2023.
Three members of the current Fast 5 squad, Zaudi Green, Kimone Shaw and Simone Gordon will join the team for the Kingston leg.
Sasher-Gaye Henry, newly appointed coach of the Sunshine Girls says her charges are eager to play and although the series is expected to be hotly contested, she expects the Sunshine Girls to show their class and come out on top.
The other members of the squad are, Shanice Beckford, Mischa Creary, Rhea Dixon, Abigale Sutherland, Khadijah Williams, Crystal Plummer, Theresa Beckford, Shamera Sterling-Humphrey, Kadie- Ann Dehaney, Latanya Wilson and Jody-Ann Ward.
