New Dancehall Sensation Eddy G Bomba Says “Duncest” Artistes Surviving Right Now: Talks Cesspool, Baphomet and No Cap

2024 breakout Dancehall artiste Eddy G Bomba whose real name is Romario Edwards has been making rounds on TikTok over the past year and now he’s one of the most talked about young Dancehall artistes who is on a steady rise in the industry.

The deejay who is from St. Andrew sat down with Anthony Miller of Entertainment Report to talk about his rise in the music and his multiple controversial songs and “dunce” mindset.

The deejay is best known for the line “Betta move with yo speeda gun, the beast a cum, mi wi lick dung police a grung,” which is from his most viral song titled ‘No Cap‘. According to Eddy G, he had voiced the lyrics on a collab initially, but the other artiste removed the verse from the song, hence he did an entire song by himself.

Eddy G Bomba went on to express that the person with whom he did the collaborated was not “dunce enough” to not be afraid of the cops. In talking on the matter, he also admitted that he did not believe that the song would have turned out to be his breakout song.

To clear his name, the artiste declared that he was not saying he had hit a police, he just mentioned that he will if he have to, “me just did inna one vibe and a suh me did feel at the time building the song… mi song tuff differently,” he stated.

“A the duncest, yuh zeet, a the duncest a survive out yah, right yah now,” he outlined.

He was asked by Anthony Miller about being apart of the “dunce” fraternity to which Eddy G Bomba replied saying that he went to “good school” and being “dunce” is more about him doing what he wants without caring much about what others think.

His new songs ‘Cesspool’ and ‘Baphomet’ which can be considered to be two “dunce” titles affirm the deejay’s mindset, “Mi a try mek my fans dem feel it the darkest way them can feel it,” he also detailed before saying that it’s nothing “evil”.

Further on in the chat he stated, “Right now this generation mad enuh, a who maddest enuh.”
