Nicholas “The Axe Man” Walters, continues his comeback from an almost six year hiatus by scoring a unanimous ten round decision victory over the much younger and favoured Joseph Adorno at lightweight, last night.
Fighting in Florida on a ProBox card, the former WBA featherweight champ simply outworked his 24-year-old opponent and won on the judges scorecards of 98-91, 97-92, 95-94.
The 38-year-old Walters, who has now boxed just twice since 2016, now has a record of 29 wins and 1 defeat, 22 of his wins came by way of knockout.
