West Indies opener Brandon King has been picked up by new Franchise the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons for this year’s Caribbean Premier League, CPL which bowls off on August 29.
King who captained the now defunct Jamaica Tallawahs in last year’s edition, was selected by the Falcons at yesterday’s draft ahead of the new season.
Another Jamaican Fabian Allen was also drafted by the Falcons.
Andre Russell who is returning to the Trinbago Knight Riders and Rovman Powell captain of the Barbados are the only other Jamaicans who have so far confirmed for the CPL.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors are defending champions.
