Penn Relays: Wolmer’s Girls Through to 4x100m Finals

Wolmer’s Girls’ are through to the final of the 4-by-100-metres relay on day one of the 128th staging of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, today.

Wolmer’s quartet of Mikayla Gardner, Tianna Marshall, Natrece East, and Abigayle Wolfe advanced after posting 46-point-72 second to win their heat.

Meanwhile, Edwin Allen High, Alphansus Davis and Holmwood Technical all qualified for the final of the Girls’ 4-by-800-metres.

Edwin Allen posted 9-minutes-04-point-67 seconds to win their heat and advance as one of the 12 fastest teams.

Alphansus Davis High finished third in their heat in 9-minutes-06-point-25 seconds, and Holmwood Technical ran a time of 9-minutes-18-point-65 seconds to finish second in their heat.
