Veteran cricket commentator, Joseph ‘Reds’ Perriera, says he’s not in 100 per cent agreement with the two white ball squads selected for the tour of Sri Lanka, from October 10 – 27.
Head coach Daren Sammy, who now leads on selection under the revamped selection system, noted the importance of this series in evaluating players for key roles and understanding the conditions ahead of future ICC tournaments.
However, Perriera is calling for an explanation for players named in the squad. He says there are four changes he would have made to the T20 squad.
Perriera says the selectors made one mistake with the ODI squad.
