Multi-genre recording artiste Peyton Grae plans to turn up the heat this summer with her new single titled ' Temperature'.
The vivacious singer who hails from Portmore, St Catherine, is confident that the song will be a summer anthem.
"I am getting a lot of positive feedback about my new single. Since it was released, fans have been reaching out to me from various countries, including Jamaica, Nigeria, the US and Europe about it. It's currently getting airplay in all those territories, and the streaming numbers on Spotify and YouTube are growing," said the artiste.
Grae said that Temperature is an expression of female sexual bravado.
"I wrote this song after conversing about music with a good friend. We spoke about many things, including the current state of the music biz and the kind of music I want to make. Immediately after the conversation ended, I decided to write a sexy, feminine, rude gyal song. You know, something sexy, but very classy, and that's how Temperature was born," she said.
"Artistes need to realise that we can sing songs that are sexy and suggestive without being lewd and vulgar. Temperature is sexy and classy, but it still has that rude gyal energy," she added.
Grae produced the song on a beat which was created by Sos Dynamiks. It was mixed and mastered by Rural Area Productions and released along with a visualiser on April 4.
"The video is currently being edited and will soon be ready for release. I'm very excited to see how the fans respond to it because my team and I put a lot of work into it. I hope they will like it."
