PM: Increasing Productivity Key to Attempts to Balance Inflation

Prime Minister Andrew Holness says his administration has to find ways to manage inflation so that the effect of wage increases is not neutralised by rising inflation.

Mr. Holness made the statement while delivering the keynote address at the Annual General Meeting of the Jamaica Civil Service Association on Thursday.

The prime minister told civil servants that the battle to keep inflation low cannot be won without higher levels of productivity.
