Opposition Spokesman on Roads and Works, Richard Azan, is criticising the government for its handling of the SPARK and REACH programmes.
He was speaking at a People National Party, PNP, rally in North West Clarendon on Thursday.
But according to works minister, Robert Morgan, work is advanced in Harbour Heights in the constituency of East Kingston and Port Royal under the SPARK programme.
He says work is also being done on about 40 roads in 20 other constituencies under SPARK.
Where REACH is concerned, the Minister says numerous roads have been patched across the island under the initiative.
At the PNP meeting on Thursday, Richard Azan said based on his calculations, not enough funds have been committed to the road repair needs in North West Clarendon.
Meanwhile, Richard Azan, is chiding the government for the agreement it has with beneficiaries under the New Social Housing Programme, NSHP.
