PNP Denies Losing Access to Election Monitoring Database

General secretary of the People’s National Party, PNP, Dr. Dayton Campbell, is denying suggestions that the party executive has been locked out of its election monitoring database.

Allegations swirling among comrades are that disgruntled former PNP Central Kingston caretaker, Lawrence Rowe, has restricted access to certain members of the party executive.

But Dr. Campbell told our news centre on Tuesday that the party still has access.

Mr. Rowe was removed as caretaker on Sunday. He’s been replaced by former Senior Superintendent of Police Steve McGregor.

Mr Rowe has since launched a scathing rebuke of Dr. Campbell and party leader, Mark Golding, over his removal.

He has described himself as a data manager for the PNP. However, Dr. Campbell says at no point did Mr. Rowe manage the election monitoring database.

Still, he admits the former caretaker did IT-related work for the party.

Speaking on Cliff Hughes Online on Tuesday, Mr Rowe declined to comment on the matter.
