Former champions Portmore United remain top of the Wray and Nephew/Jamaica Premier League standings following action in match day nine on Sunday.

Rashaun Small scored on 61 minutes to give them a 1-0 win over Humble Lion at Effortville as they move to 19 points.

Another ex-champion, Montego Bay United, remain second on 17 points following their 2-1 win over Dunbeholden thanks to goals from captain Owayne Gordon and Josiah Trimmingham.

Champions Cavalier beat Vere United 2-1 at Sabina Park on the back of strikes from Dwayne Atkinson and Jalmaro Calvin.

In other results, Mount Pleasant Academy stopped Harbour View 3-1 and Racing United defeated Chapelton Maroons 1-0.

Two more games are left to complete the round. Waterhouse will face Molynes United and Arnett Gardens against Tivoli in a double-header on Monday afternoon.
