Defenders from Jamaica’s national senior men’s football team, Michael Hector and Dexter Lembikisa, were named in the Concacaf Nations League best eleven.
Hector was a big reason why Jamaica were seconds away from defeating the US in the semifinals.
The centre back was immense for the Reggae Boyz and amassed seven clearances in the two games, to go along with a steal and an assist.
Meanwhile, Lembikisa picked the right time to score his first goal with Jamaica with a powerful left-footed finish in the 1-0 third-place win versus Panama.
He also had seven clearances.
Champions USA has seven players in the team, while runners up Mexico counted for two.
