President of the Jamaica football federation, JFF, Michael Ricketts, says he had no doubt that he would have been return as president of the federation.
Ricketts who has been in office since 2017, beat challenger, Raymond Anderson, by a vote of 39-17 to secure another four-year term as head of local football.
Ricketts believes the margin of victory could have been greater.
He says his only disappointment is that the campaign wasn’t civil.
Some believe that this defeat could spell the end for Anderson as a board member, but Ricketts says the door is open for anyone who wishes to serve Jamaica’s football.
