Opposition spokesman on finance, Julian Robinson, is concerned about the securitisation of future revenues from the Norman Manley International Airport, NMIA.

He says this could impact operations of the Airport Authority of Jamaica and particularly, Norman Manley International.

According to Mr. Robinson, the country’s growth was in a noticeable decline before the impact of Hurricane Beryl.

He argues that the country must find a way to ensure growth and avoid utilising similar unsustainable securitisation methods in the future.
