Rohanna Sudlow of St. Catherine High School will be the first Jamaican in action on the opening day of the 2024 World Athletics Under 20 Championships in Lima Peru.
Sudlow will be in flight two of the girls Long Jump Qualification which gets underway at 9.15 tomorrow morning, both flights of the qualifying series will be contested simultaneously.
At 9:40 am Jamaica will go in heat two of the Mixed 4x400m relays with the likes of Nigeria.
The girls 100m first round heat is set to get off at 10.10 with Alana Reid in the third heat and Thieanna Lee Terrelonge in heat five.
The Boys equivalent is set to get going at 11am with Gary Card in heat five and Deandre Daley in Heat 6.
Also at 11am will be the Girls Shot Put Qualification where Shaiquan Selbourne Dunn will carry the Jamaican hopes.
While at 11.45am the Girls Discus Qualification with Najhada Seymoure and Shamoya Morris.
The semi-finals of the Boys and Girls 100m will be run in the afternoon session as well as the final of the Mixed 4x400m relay which will be the last event on the opening day of competition.
