Rugby League Jamaica has named a 24-member squad for the America’s Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The tournament is set for the University of North Florida North Rugby Fields, from November 6-9.
Brazil, who made their debut at the last World Cup in England in 2022, Canada, Jamaica and USA will contest the competition.
Canada, who played in the 2017 and postponed 2021 tournaments, will face Jamaica, while the Amazonas will take on the hosts.
The losers will play in a world ranking match as a curtain raiser to the final, with the winner progressing to 2025 World Series to determine ultimate qualification.
Jamaica’s squad include, Alicia Richards, Aniya Smith, Chevelle Clarke, Daina-Ann Fearon, Darcey Price, Debisha Scarlett, Dejonaye Cole, Elychia Watson, Elyse Royal, Gianna Noble-Cunningham and Kamoya Forest.
Kaya-jo Laing, Lovel Atkinson, Mackayla McCalla, Makeda Lewis, Moesha Bogle, Shanice Stewart, Shanique Smith, Sherine Johnson, Shoya Gordon, Tajera Nicholson, Tarja Richards and Veronica Blair are also in the squad.
