Two time World Championship bronze medallist Rushell Clayton is the latest Jamaican to sign up for the Grand Slam Athletics League.

The reigning women’s national 400 metres hurdles champion now joins fellow national champion Ackera Nugent and national 400 metres record holder Roshawn Clarke as Jamaicans who’ve already signed up for the four meet series.

The new global track league was launched this year American track and field legend Michael Johnson.

The winner of each grand slam group will take home US $100,000 while eighth place will receive US $10,000.

This is in addition to the base compensation and appearance fees.
