Sagicor Bank has reintroduced its prepaid card solution to the market, following its discontinuation in 2022.
On July 29, the card was presented to the public with the name Sagicor Bank Preferred Prepaid Mastercard.
The bank says the reintroduction of the prepaid solution is a fundamental part of the Group’s digitalisation plans.
Sagicor Bank’s Senior Vice President of Retail and Payments, Damion Hylton, says the card aims to enhance the company’s financial services.
Sagicor says the card can be used to conduct withdrawals at any ATM bearing the CIRRUS logo, both locally and internationally.
It can also be used at any point of sale that accepts Mastercard, online bill payments, and for online shopping.
Hylton says cardholders will be able to conduct remittance transactions with the card.
