Samuda: Jamaica’s Athletes Ready for Paris Olympics

Representing 203 national Olympic committees, approximately 10,500 athletes will compete across 32 sports in 329 events at the Games of the 33rd Olympiad in Paris.

Even though the opening ceremony of the Games does not take place until Friday, the men’s football tournament kicked off the action at the Games, on Wednesday.

The action climaxes on August 11.

President of the Jamaica Olympic Association, Christopher Samuda, says Jamaica’s athletes and officials are ready.

Samuda says Paris is prepared for the Games even amid security concerns.
