Cabinet minister Matthew Samuda says the Holness-administration has more credibility than the Opposition People’s National Party, PNP, on the matter of providing housing solutions to Jamaicans.
He was speaking to students at a townhall meeting at the Mona campus of the University of the West Indies on Tuesday evening.
According to Samuda, under a previous PNP-administration in 2015, the Housing Agency of Jamaica was on the brink of collapse.
Meanwhile, Samuda says the government is overseeing a housing thrust where at any one point up to 21,000 houses are in different stages of development across the country.
