The Small Business Association of Jamaica, SBAJ, is hailing chief executive officer, CEO, of the Jamaica Business Development Corporation, JBDC, Valerie Veira as she departs office.
The SBAJ in a statement salutes Ms. Veira as a dedicated public servant and visionary.
It says she has spent more than 20 years championing the growth and development of Jamaica’s micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, MSME, sector.
The association says as she demits office as CEO of the JBDC, the SBAJ joins entrepreneurs, partners, stakeholders, and staff in raising their hats in gratitude.
The SBAJ says Ms. Veira leaves behind a vibrant legacy, not only as a mentor but as a pioneer whose work has significantly contributed to the advancement of Jamaica’s economy.
