Opener Carlos Brown slammed his maiden list A century on Sunday in Trinidad and Tobago to steer Jamaica Scorpions to a 128 run win over the CCC team in the regional Super 50 competition.
Brown belted 12 fours and five sixes in his knock of 121, as the Scorpions posted 289 for 9 in 50 overs.
Brown shared in a third wicket stand of 137 with Jermaine Blackwood who went for 41.
Javelle Glen, 52, and Odean Smith, 32, also scored well, putting on 90 for the seventh wicket.
The CCC then struggled in their reply against disciplined Scorpion bowling, led by Jeavor Royal, 4-for-29 and Kirk McKenzie, 2-for-20. They were restricted to 161-for-9.
The Scorpions will next be in action on Tuesday against defending champions and hosts the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force.
