The Jamaica Scorpions will go in search of their second win of the 2024 CG United regional Super 50 cricket competition when they face off with the Windward Islands Volcanoes at Queens Park Oval in Port of Spain on Tuesday starting at 9am.
The Scorpions will enter the game on the back of an 80 run win over the West Indies Academy this past weekend.
The Scorpions lost their opening game by 24 runs to the Barbados Pride last Wednesday.
The coaching staff has made change from the the 12 named for the last game.
Javelle Glen has been brought in to replace Odaine McCatty.
On Monday the West Indies Academy picked up their first win of the season, a 23 run victory over the Combine Campuses and Colleges team on the Duckworth/Lewis method at the Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Ground.
The CCC 174 all out in 40 overs….After a lengthy rain delay the Academy was asked to get a revised target and they reached 167 for 7 in the 41st over.
Romario Greaves was the main man for the CCC with 5 for 45.
