Seven Jamaicans in Action in Diamond League Opener

World 200m champion Shericka Jackson and 2020 Olympic gold medallist Hansle Parchment are among 7-Jamaicans down to compete at the first stop of the Wanda Diamond League in Xiamen, China, on Saturday.

Jackson will run in her pet event against the Americans Jenna Prandini and Twanisha Terry.

Meanwhile Parchment will line up in the 110-metres hurdles where he’ll renew rivalry with the reigning World and Olympic Champion Grant Holloway of the USA.

World Champion Danielle Williams will clash with World record holder Tobi Amusan of Nigeria in the women’s 100-metres hurdles.

Rohan Watson will be Jamaica’s standard bearer in the men’s 100-metres.

Natoya Goule-Toppin will face the starter in the women’s 1000-metres.

And Wayne Pinnock and Tajah Gayle will line up in the men’s long jump.
