Deputy General Secretary of the JLP, Senator Charles Sinclair, says PNP President, Mark Golding, still has questions to answer about the status of his citizenship.
Senator Sinclair was speaking at a JLP workers conference in Central St James on Sunday.
Golding announced he had renounced his British citizenship last September, following public pressure surrounding the issue.
But the JLP has maintained that Jamaicans should see the proof of that renunciation.
In a bid to put the matter to rest, Golding, who was a guest on an online show, showed what he said was the document proving he’s no longer a dual citizen.
Senator Sinclair is questioning why Mr. Golding did not present the evidence during his Budget presentation in Parliament.
