South Africa, Afghanistan to Meet in T20 WC Semifinal

South Africa and Afghanistan will meet in the first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago, today.

While both teams have been giving stellar performances throughout the tournament, Afghanistan in particular, has been garnering acclaim for their stunning wins against Australia and New Zealand.

Afghanistan have won five matches of the seven they played in total, while South Africa have won all seven matches they played during the tournament.

Both South Africa and Afghanistan have yet to win an ICC T20 trophy.

Meanwhile, defending champions England take on India in semi-final two on Thursday.
