Tony de Zorzi and Tristan Stubbs both hit a century as South Africa reached 307 for 2 at stumps on day one of the second Test against Bangladesh in Chattogram.
De Zorzi is unbeaten on 141, while Stubbs made 106.
De Zorzi and Stubbs, with eight and five Test caps to their names respectively, shared South Africa’s third-highest second-wicket stand in Asia of 201 to put South Africa in a strong position to push for a series sweep.
Taijul Islam has so far taken two wickets for Bangladesh.
