Public commentator Dr. Nadeen Spence is hailing what she says is the growing number of women becoming fully engaged in political matters.
According to the latest Nationwide/Bluedot poll, powered by Total Tools, 54 per cent of female voters said Prime Minister Andrew Holness should lead Jamaica beyond 2025. On the flip side, 46 per cent of women voters want Holness and his government gone.
This is compared to the evenly divided sentiment among men, with 50 per cent saying no to a third term and 50 per cent saying yes.
Dr. Spence says attractiveness is also a deciding factor for women when voting in an election.
