Minister of Sport, Olivia Grange, has launched a D License training programme for Primary School football coaches in Jamaica.
Five hundred coaches across the island will have the opportunity to qualify for D License certification in training sessions to be conducted in all 14 parishes, starting at the Captain Horace Burrell Centre of excellence.
Minister Grange says the course is in keeping with the mandate that all Primary School coach must hold a D License Diploma.
The Ministry is contributing $10 million through the SDF to the funding of the training courses.
