Spurs to Start Favourites Against the Hummingbirds in Elite Netball Semifinal

Defending champions Manchester Spurs will start favourites when they take on the Kingston Hummingbirds in semi-final one of the Red Stripe Flavours Netball Jamaica Elite League at the National indoor centre, on Friday.

The Spurs top the preliminary round with 21 points from eight starts, while the Hummingbirds finished fourth with nine points.

Both teams have met twice this season with the Spurs coming out on top in both games.

Meanwhile, St, Catherine Racers who finished second will face third place St. James Sharpes.

The Racers ended the preliminary round with 11 points after three wins, three losses and two draws, while the sharps has 10 points from three win, four losses and a draw.
