Captain Rovman Powell, 37, and Gudakesh Motie, 32, got most runs with Brandon King weighing in with 23 and Shai Hope and Romario Shepherd 18 apiece.
Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana bagged two wickets each.
The Sri Lankan top order then made light work of the run chase as Kusal Mendis, 68, and Kusal Pererra, 55, took them home with an unbroken second wicket stand of 106.
Pathum Nissanka set the tone with 39 from 22 balls.
West Indies captain Rovman Powell says the team lost the game in the power play.
Despite the series loss, Powell believes the players did themselves proud.
