St Lucia Planning Public Holiday to Celebrate Alfred Olympic Medals

The Prime Minister of St. Lucia, Philip J Pierre, is inviting the world to his country to help them celebrate the achievement of sprinter, Julien Alfred at the Paris Olympics.

Alfred won the women’s 100-metres title and picked up silver in the 200-metres.

Prime Minister Pierre says the government will declare a public holiday to honour Alfred’s performance in Paris.
