National swimmers Barron Tate and Leanna Wainwright are part of a 18-member delegation that are in China as part of the final leg of the Jamaica-China Sports Technical Exchange Programme.
The swimmers train at the Kunming Haigen Physical Training Base located in the city of Kunming, Yunnan.
It is the largest Sports Training Center in China, sitting 1889-metres above sea level giving the opportunity for high performance training.
Tate says he’s already seeing improvement in his technique.

Wainwright, a many time CARIFTA and CC-CAN medallist, says she’s adjusting well to conditions in China.
