Donald Trump’s media company was hit by a fresh round of selling on Wednesday, wiping out gains the share price had enjoyed this year alongside the rising political fortunes of its namesake.

The BBC is reporting that shares fell more than 6 per cent to less than US $17, which is less than what they were worth at the start of 2024.

The share price, which hit a peak in April during the former president’s criminal trial, has fallen more than 70 per cent from its high.
