Denbigh High School boys and girls teams will be in action in Monday’s round of matches in the ISSA/JHF Under 19 High School Hockey League, at the Mona field.
In the opening match, Denbigh High Boys take on season favorites Munro College at 2 pm.
Denbigh High, currently positioned sixth on the league table, are geared up to extend their three-match undefeated streak.
With a record of one win, two draws, and one loss, Denbigh have shown resilience on the field, most notably defeating York Castle High 2-0 in their previous encounter.
On the other end of the spectrum stands Munro College, perched at second place with an impeccable record of three wins out of three matches.
With a commanding goal difference of 10 and nine points to their name, Munro College has been a force to reckon with this season.
Their ruthless performance against Clan Carthy High, Wolmer’s Boys, and even edging past defending champions Jamaica College underscores their dominance on the field.
On the girls side, defending champions Denbigh take on the Queens School in the match of the day at 3 pm.
Denbigh have displayed commendable performance so far this season.
