W.I. Women Seek ICC T20 World Cup Semi-final Berth

West Indies women, will be seeking their third straight win of the ICC T20 World Cup when they take on Group “B” leaders England in Dubai, tomorrow.

The Windies sits at third in the group with four points from three starts, while England are on six points from their three games.

A win for the Windies will put them on six points at the top of the group, the same as South Africa in second place and England.

However, the Caribbean women have a superior net run rate.

Coach of the West Indies, Shane Deitz, says they’ll be going out to hand England their first defeat.

Deitz admits England will be their toughest opponent in the tournament so far.

Meanwhile, the West Indies will be going for a series win when they take on hosts Sri Lanka in the 2nd match of their 3-match T20 series at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, tomorrow.

The Windies lead the series 1-nil following their 5-wicket win in game one.

However, all-rounder, Roston Chase, says there are still a few areas that needs improving.
