The battle for the last playoff spot in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League will go down to the last day of the league season next Sunday.
It’s a straight battle between Waterhouse and Tivoli Gardens who are both on 55 points but Tivoli hold the advantage because they have a superior goal difference.
On Sunday Tivoli drew 2-2 with Chapelton Maroons while Waterhouse fell 2-0 to Arnett Gardens.
On the final day of the league season Tivoli will host Montego Bay United at the Edward Seaga Complex while Waterhouse will visit Dunbeholden.
The game between Tivoli and Montego Bay United will also have implications on the second automatic semi-final qualifiers. Montego Bay, on 75 points, will need to win as third place Arnett are just two points behind. Arnett will host Harbour View on the final day.
League leaders Mount Pleasant returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Molynes United in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League at Drax Hall, on Sunday.
Mount pleasant had their six game winning streak snapped when they were beaten 2-1 by cavalier, last Thursday.
However, the former champions were able to bounce back through goals from, Odean Pennycooke, Daniel Green and Emerson Liasse to put them on 90 points after 38 starts.
Dunbeholden clipped Portmore United 1-0, Harbour View blanked Vere United 6-0, Montego Bay United edged Cavalier 1-0 and Racing United beat Humble Lion 2-1.
